Pradeep Pathirana
Pradeep Pathirana is the founder of Sprachhafen. Sprachhafen is a language school, language service provider, recruitment/placement partner and – where the required legal requirements, approvals and grants are in place – a provider of measures for activation and vocational integration.
As a BAMF-approved teacher of German as a foreign language, publicly sworn interpreter, and authorized translator for Sinhala with reference to the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court, Pradeep Pathirana combines language expertise, educational experience, intercultural competence, and practical guidance.
He is also a state-recognized social worker and supports people in language, education, recognition, applications, apprenticeships, and professional integration.

Pradeep Pathirana
Pradeep Pathirana is the founder of Sprachhafen. He combines many years of educational experience with language training, translation and interpreting expertise, and intercultural support. With Sprachhafen, he is developing a language school, recruitment/placement partner, and platform for career preparation, integration, and international talent recruitment.
His professional background includes work in youth welfare, integration, education, German as a foreign language, and German as a second language. As a BAMF-approved teacher, he has taught integration courses and job-related German courses for many years.
He is also an authorised translator and sworn interpreter for German and Sinhala in Schleswig-Holstein and is authorised by the Ministry of Justice in Sri Lanka as a translator and interpreter for German, English and Sinhala.
Through his education and professional experience in both Germany and Sri Lanka, he understands the linguistic, professional and cultural requirements on both sides. Sprachhafen uses this experience to support individuals and companies in a practical, clear and reliable way.
